SHORT BIO Jack Powers is the director of New York's IN3.ORG, the International Informatics Institute, a center for research and education in technology, business and society founded in 1982. An experienced business educator, podcaster, the author of six books and numerous research articles on media technology management and strategy, Jack edits the Institute's web journals IN3.ORG, HealthcareNBIC.org and Pervasive.TV. He teaches at New York University and conducts executive education programs around the world. As a conference chairman for organizers like Penton Media, Mecklermedia, ITD Group and Diversified Communications, he organizes major technology and business conferences in North America and around the world. Jack serves on several education advisory board in the public sector and edits the Graphics Teachers Exchange blog.
